Here’s a snapshot of our garden at the end of another lovely weekend.
I spent a little time pulling weeds and dead-heading flowers, but I had to buckle down and write my Lifted Spirits board report, in addition to other mundane activities.
Mike finished assembling the glider, and we all took turns sitting on it. I promise pictures soon.
In the meantime, here are several photos of the garden at dusk. This is such a wonderful time of year in the garden.

A lovely gallery

Oh, fabulous! I love it all, but I am especially taken with the little fence/gate in one of your pots. I’m getting ready for my own plantapoolza this summer. Didn’t have one potted plant outside last year. Plan on making up for it this year. May I include this post in my Friday Favorites?

It’s all looking positively dreamy. Speaking of dreamy, your Mr Mike looked after that fast! Bravo! Looking forward to seeing it in action xoK

I loved this wander through your garden, Alys. So many little paths and interesting things. I smiled to see the watering cans lined up. The screens on your back fence have given me a great idea for my new fence. The lounge room window looks out onto it, and it is very ugly. So a similar screen will be more interesting to look at. I may even borrow your idea of growing nasturtiums up it! Thank you. 😘

I think pathways give gardens a lot of charm. They meander, moving the eye to different places in the garden.
