It’s nothing to write home about, but we finally got a bit of the wet stuff. Drizzle. Precipitation. Rain. According to our local paper we can expect more storms this week. I’m pretty excited.
What fun I had today chasing down raindrops gathering in the recesses of plants. I spotted the first snail of the season, too, but so it goes with gardening. Nature vs nature. It’s hard to take sides.
I am sure it is a great mistake always to know enough to go in when it rains. One may keep snug and dry by such knowledge, but one misses a world of loveliness. ~Adeline Knapp
Beautiful photos. I live in wester Washington state and it has been raining for 15 days straight dreaming of sunshine. These photos make me fall in love with the rain all over again. Thank you for sharing.

I often marvel at the rain distribution. We’ve been desperate for rain all season. Even in arid San Jose, we should average 14-18 inches a season. We’ve only had 3! Washington is a beautiful state from what I’ve seen. I have many friends that hale from there, and friends that have moved back. I hope you see the sun soon. Thanks for commenting.
