we have a new fruit cocktail tree that has leaves that have yellowed in the past while .its about 4 ft tall with 6 different fruit .We planted it in its own soil and watered it well in its 1 st few weeks .We are from up north and had to leave for 5 months and it only got the benefit of the southwest Florida rainy season. It did bear fruit and we have just taken some of the lemons/grapefruit/and a lone navel orange off the tree . I have given it some fertilizer for citrus trees in the last few days and have given it some good waterings .any other tips that i ould use so we can enjoy and reap the rewards of the tree
Thanks for writing. My four in one tree has pitted fruit, so it’s supposed to turn yellow this time of year since it goes dormant. Since your tree is citrus, however, yellow leaves may be a sign of something else. I think you’ll find this article useful. They have photographic samples of all the potential problems from pests to vitamin deficiencies. Please let me know how it goes. Alys
