My dear friend Boomdee is coming to town. She’ll be here in a matter of days. When we’re not sharing via our blogs, Facebook or Skype, we fill in the gaps with tiny treasures via snail-mail. When you have a kindred spirit, it’s a bit like having a twin. You find yourselves doing the same thing at the same time without realizing it until later. You fall into patterns as if you’ve known each other your entire life. The most incredible part of all is finding your kindred spirit through blogging.
Here is the latest from Boomtown aka Edmonton, Canada: a cheerful sunflower postcard with the glittery “Boomdee Touch.”
Do you have a kindred spirit? Tell me more in the comments below.
That is so lovely – you are both very blessed 🙂

You are such a sweetie pie. Ms Montgomery says it so well. I feel your presence daily not only when we connect on line but thru out my day, all the little moments. When I walk past the Alyssum in my planters and it smells so good, when I enjoy my own snail mail board and see all the fab treasure from you. Even when I’m making lunch and it’s totally Vegetarian. After so many years of thinking about it, you inspired me to make a commitment. Beijing and Lindy-Lou are a welcomed treat after such a crazy day, thank you so so so much for this.
Your garden is the perfect background for life, friendship and sunflower cards 😀 Only 8 days and I can give you a great big hug, I’m so lucky to have found you in this crazy world, mwaaaaa ! I really do Love You xoxoxoxo Kelly

Loved how the sunflower was done. It looks dimensional. Looks like all the kitty’s liked it too. I love it too when good friends get to visit. Makes the world so much brighter. Hugs to you both.

Marlene, I hope we meet you as well one day. That would be awesome.
Boomdee did a nice job with the sunflower bling, didn’t she? She brings brightness and glitter wherever she goes.
